I’m so glad you are changing buildings. Handicapped parking and the single tiny elevator were are always challenges in your existing building. Dr. Nagda is the Superhero of Shoulders. Prior to surgery, friends and family made dire predictions about the outcome, citing non-scientific evidence such as “my friend never got full range of motion back” or “I know someone who had surgery years back and still has problems.” I ignored them and forged ahead with surgery. Admittedly, the first few weeks were not a walk in the park and physical therapy was challenging. This is major surgery and should be treated as such. But the recovery rate exceeded my expectations. With physical therapy and home exercises, I feel at least 80% back to normal. I’m 66 and by no means in good shape, so I’m elated at how well the surgery and recovery has gone. I tell anyone will listen the following three things: don’t wait to have joint replacement until the pain is unbearable, go to the Anderson Clinic, and do exactly what they tell you to do or not to do. I also tell them to have a positive attitude and to trust the doctor completely. I told Dr.Nagda on my first visit that if I didn’t trust him, I wouldn’t be sitting in his office.
