I was previously a landlord with 5 properties managed by a bad management company, and I have since sold them and happily become a tenant renting through SML. I can honestly say from either perspective that I would work with them. They do protect the property owner (much more than the putz that I hired) but yet they have been both fair and responsive to me as a tenant.

I ended up with a broken pipe in the kitchen floor. The folks at SML immediately got the plumbing company and leak detection folks onsite to get it resolved.

I recently recommended Sarasota Mgmt & Leasing to another landlord that was very unhappy with their mgmt company. Prior to becoming a tenant I had 5 rental properties for 10 years and a mgmt company "taking care of things" while I was out of the country. They were horrible. I know good companies and I know bad companies...SML is easy to recommend.
