I was confused with the overall visit. This idea of x-rays, especially when the dentist sees issues with just her eyes, I was told I would have to pay for current x-rays in order to submit to the insurance for preauthorization. I've NEVER heard that ever in all my years of going to the dentist. I had to come back and insist on x-rays. No insurance company is approving anything without evidence that there's an issue. They decided to do a scan instead. The technician was even confused with what she was doing based on what the front desk told her. I had to correct her and the dentist had to come back in and confirm what I was saying. Even with the apologies, I left confused and concerned if I'm in the right place. I haven't had the best dental experiences these last 2 years and just need my issues resolved so I can move on with my life. I don't have time for games or disorganization.
