Not sure why one hour forty minute appointment booked out for straightforward 10 minute procedure

The hygienist treated me as though I was an inanimate object . Talking loudly to her colleagues, seeming not to care about any discomfort I was experiencing. She dug one of her tools in to my gum which made me jump , she then appeared to wake up to the fact that I was not a slab of meat to be poked and prodded at her leisure,as she saw fit . This experience reminded me of the bad old days when medical professionals believed that black people would never complain and had a high pain fresh hold , therefore they would treat us with complete contempt . To think I paid for the privilege of being treated in such a disrespectful way .

My hygienist and dentist are the best. Both friendly and nice always make me at ease and I trust them.

Called made appointment for emergency tretment day before our holiday, seen right on time and dentist explained the 2 options i had and was excellent both him & his dental nurse were friendly, kind and put me at ease, this is second time ive used this surgery in emergency and just wish it was nearer my home as would gladly joint the surgery for routine dental care.

Once again everyone was pleasant and very helpful. It was my six months check up which is very extensive and they always give me the information I require and and aswer any questions i ask them.
