I had a root filling, through a crown, on a wisdom tooth. Having had a root filling previously I was under no illusions as to the gruelling procedure. The dentist, Dr Dara Cotton, was superb. Throughout the treatment I was kept fully informed - in all four x-rays were taken at various stages and ultimately I was told three nerves were removed. There was no pain, and other than having to hold my mouth in the yawn position, no discomfort. The nurses were well trained and admirably fulfilled their role. Job done. Tooth good, no pranging because it was an 'old' tooth so hopefully will hang around for a few more years.
