From my experience they put you in roles you are not qualified for, tell the clients you are trained, tell you to not tell the clients that you are not trained, no appreciation for filling in shifts, no compassion when you work 15 hr days and full in on weekends mornings and evenings for them, when you call in because you have a migraine or UTI and can't physically work. They allow you to break contract without saying anything to you and then fire you when it's convenient for them without any warnings. The office sends you all kinds of emails telling you to check your schedule and emails regularly then gives you shit for being on your phone at work. When asked multiple times to call you because you have no time to check your emails they still send an email. They schedule you for an appt without looking at your schedule first to see if you have to miss work, then get written up about it. They do NOT train you for any situation that you are not trained for. It's all on the job training. They expect the client to train you while they are also paying for you to be there. The receptionist does not listen to you. She argues with you and clients. Was scheduled for 62 hrs in a week and then got written up when I called in to explain to her about a clients schedule and cancel an upcoming client. She argues with me and escalated my already upset mood. No sorry, my mistake or understanding for what I was saying just kept arguing with me and saying I was wrong. When I was let go, I asked for documentation they said they had but they just give me reasons that were never brought to my attention but no documentation. Took them from the 5th to the 13th to submit my ROE after I called to see when they were submitting it. I had to also contact them about getting my deposits back for my uniform. Didn't get back to EI office for 2 weeks.Christy is good it's just the new staff that have been hired in the last year. There's no appreciation for what you do in the field. Your clients and the family give you more gratitude for your job than the office does. Even when you go in whenever asked or work days without breaks for them.

My husband has Alzheimer’s and unfortunately had to go into long term care. I had scheduled a respite for 2 weeks and decided to find a companion for him while I was away. Speaking with Amanda at Seniors Home Care by Angels, I felt confident they could help me. Amanda found the angel, Edmond! He’s been amazing with my husband, Gary and has a strong bond with him. I am so amazed how caring and kind he is with him. I’m so grateful! I just can’t say enough how much I appreciate such kindness and wonderful care Gary has with Edmond!
