I wasn’t sure I had a policy, couldn’t find any paper work. I called them and was told that I did and they would send someone out. Mark called 10 minutes later and said he was on his way. Explained the proble and fixed it.Thanks

From the timeline of submitting a claim request, everything went fine, all were very professional. That is to include the contactor sent out. But when approval for the required repairs came up all was approved up to $3,000 my job required a $4,400 cost. So I had to pay out of pocket a whopping $1,400 to have the job completed. I'm on a fixed income where no way I could afford that. So when you get down to it, issue wasn't fixed.

Our water line broke late on a Friday. I input a claim but by the next day no one had reached out and we had no water. I called customer service and they assigned a company but by Monday morning still had no contact. Made several calls and finally got a person. A repair person came out but quickly told me Home serve wouldn't pay more than $1500 even though the warranty reads up to $8500 for repair/replace. They convinced me to have it repaired privately for cash so I canceled the claim. I was very upset to have paid for the warranty for ten years only to be told Home Serve doesn't really pay. The old line was 50 years old and needed replacement but according to the service rep Home Serve doesn't replace the lines only repairs and only a small amount.

Had to wait over the weekend without water, due to sewer issue, but once scheduled on Monday response was prompt and the technician sent was excellent!
