I truly appreciate the quick response we received in having a plumber come out the same day since the water was backing up into our house. It was close to reaching our hardwood floors. The technician immediately saw debris in the outgoing sewer line cleanout and snaked out the line. He found a bundle of roots, indicating that the pipe was infiltrated by foliage. I asked if he could use a camera and was advised that our coverage would not allow this unless it were a recurring issue. From past experience, I think it is only a matter of time before the problem recurs. I want to follow up on this claim with a more detailed inspection.
