we had a leak in our incoming water line your folks were prompt to assign us a local plumber and our service was scheduled in a very short period. The local plumbing service was right on schedule and the assigned plumber was polite, efficient and easy to understand and our problem was solved in a timely manner. Thanks to all involved for your quick response

I have been with Service Line Warranties /Home Serve for several years now and I had an emergency issue come up and when I first called on Sunday morning around 8 or so AM the first guy I spoke with told me I had an interior issue and was not covered. I told him I felt very sure it was exterior but he refused to send any help or research further. I had a friend of mine check my outside sewer cap and when he unscrewed the cap there was water standing. I called back and spoke to someone else and she said she would get someone out to check my issue out. By the time I got off work I had not been able to reach anyone even though a company had accepted my work order so I called back and the lady tried to reach out to that company but could not get anyone to respond so she tried another company and found one but said it would be the next day before I could get service. I had been all day without toilets and such and now it was going to go into the next day. The time frame for this type of emergency repair is unacceptable. Plus the first person I spoke with wasn't even willing to do anything to help me.

I requested a call from repair tech 20 mins prior to arriving at my property so i could be there; they did not call; I am not certain whether the sewer/drain flies infestation has been resolved as it was just yesterday, 8/25/2025, that the tech arrived for service. I am hoping the problem has been resolved. I guess I should wait 2-3 weeks hoping the sewer/drain flies are gone. Thank you.

A very quick turnaround time called on Friday afternoon told someone would come on Saturday between 1:00 and 5:00 in actuality and technician showed up before noon.

Good day The communication process and the inability to talk to someone who was familiar with the circumstances of my situation was very fatiguing. I spoke to a different person every time a called in to get an update on the the repair timing, and was told a supervisor would contact me by the end of the day and that only happened once (Scott Rose) very early in the process. I also spoke to Darlene in Tennessee, who was very receptive to my situation and Triston in New Jersey who also was very receptive and helpful. Thank you vey much to those two for their assistance. Toward the end of the process, I was told I would get a return call from a supervisor, for an update, 6 times, and it never happened. The people I talked to many times, at the call centers were very polite and courteous and that is worth mentioning. The lack of a promised call back was the disappointing part. I was simply looking for a timeline for the repair so I could plan accordingly. At one point I went for 20 days with out being able to use my toilet. That was unacceptable. And there was out of pocket cost for me as well. The tree removal in the front yard was required before the dig could happen. I will say, that the crew from Hartman & Sons who actually did the excavation and line repair where very courteous and professional. I am pleased with the end result. But, the local management of that crew, was not responsive to my inquires, did not return my calls, and was absent from the process for a majority of the time. The person that I talked to at Hartmann that were out of state, New Jersey, Tennessee, were polite and professional, but were also absent at the end. I am very glad that this repair is over and my drain is functioning without issue at the moment. That is a great relief. But, the path to get here was very difficult and stressful along the way.
