It took three calls to get someone to repair the plumbing problem. Also, I called on a Saturday and I was told that we had to wait till Monday before someone could come over. This is unacceptable because the plumbing problems require required immediate attention. A repair person was finally sent in, but it took a number of calls to get this accomplished.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! First time in two years having to utilize our Service line warranty and I cannot say enough about this company and it's VERY reputable companies it uses to fulfill a customer issue. WOW, was SO simple, called, told them my problem. said no worries, we will have one of our reputable service companies contact you shortly. Got a call shortly after, said who they were, who they were calling on behalf of, and came out and cleaned the main sewer line out. I will say this, I have NEVER had a company so thorough in every direction. FIVE STAR ALL THE WAY from start to finish. I am SO glad we are with Home Serve, Service Line warranties AND their very reputable service companies they work with. I would not want to go any where else. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great service. My problem occured on Friday night. Plumber didn't come until Monday morning. That was quite a wait but appreciate the communication and great service

The last plumber that came really knew what he was doing and got our problem fixed after going without water for four days and if I need service again I would tell the warranty people to call him

I have typically had a great experience with Home Serve and rate the experience as 5 stars. This last experience was frustrating. I have an old home with exterior line coverage. For years, when our single bathroom gets backed up, it's because the exterior line is clogged and needs to be cleared. Apart from not having a functioning shower and toilet, if we wait too long, the laundry room and kitchen sink begin to back up as well. I have used Home Serve a several times without issue.When I went to file a claim with Home Serve and request service, I was notified that after our previous service call, the plumber found there to be no issue with the exterior line. It was an interior issue, which I don't have coverage for. However, I was never notified of this, nor charged, which I would've been happy to pay. This meant though, that there was a flag on my account that was preventing service because the previous plumber said the issue was only interior. I have several personal experiences (before Home Serve) and with Home Serve where the sole issue was the exterior line, and I knew that was the issue again. However, the service rep went back and forth with me several times stating that nothing could be done because the previous plumber noted it was an interior issue. Finally, the service rep agreed that they could send someone. I understand I don't have interior coverage, and I would be happy to pay for the repair if that is the only issue. It was extremely frustrating to debate about whether should come to my property or not due to one previous instance.It was an exterior line issue, which is what I have coverage for. The bathroom would have been inoperable, and I would've had to pay out of pocket for my own plumber to clear the exterior line (which I have coverage for), if I hadn't pressed the service rep to send someone out for repairs.
