I wanted to extend my deepest gratitude for the exceptional care and support my mother received while at Shadelands. From the moment she arrived, she felt welcomed, encouraged, and in truly capable hands. Each member of the staff played a significant role in her recovery. Your dedication, expertise and kindness made a challenging journey much more manageable and for that we are very grateful.

I had a good experience at Shadelands. The large, private rooms, each with an attached bathroom are nice. The staff who provided the services, whether the nurses, the CNAs, or others, were friendly and helpful and responded quickly when I pressed my call button. The physical and occupational therapists were very good. The only criticism I would have is that I had different PT and OT therapists each day for my relatively short stay of only five days. It would have been beneficial I think to have more continuity in that area. But overall, my experience at Shadelands was very positive.

Shadeland Post Acute facility is an excellent place for recovery, great staff

My Mom's experience was phenominal. She really enjoyed her time there. She loved the privacy of her own room, the doctors, physical therapists, nurses, and staff were very attentive, pleasant and absolutely AMAZING!!! The physical therapy that my Mom received at Shadelands was incredible. She is so much stronger than she ever was in the recent past. Shadeland was my Mom's third stay at a post acute in the bay area within the last 3 years, and the care, physical therapy, and ambiance at Shadelands was by far so much MORE SUPERIOR. Thank you so much, Shadelands!!!

My mom stayed with you for about 4 weeks. I'm writing bc she can't see well. Food was mostly great, portions too large. Staff was very friendly and helpful. PT and OT was great but she would have preferred more sessions. Special shout out to Arcel, Babylon, Daisy, JJ and all the therapists. My only complaint is a lack of communication. My sister and I felt like we had to seek out information. Overall, we would absolutely recommend Shadelands!

My wife’s experience was very good, the only issue was no set time schedule for PT and OT was established and communicated to her

Care staff was consistently professional friendly, and helpful. Positive results from PT/OT were noticeable. Food was healthy and appetizing. Even the cleaning staff were respectful and kind.

I was not the patient. I am answering questions as next of kin. Staff was very helpful and generous with their time. Not being a medical person myself I would assumer the medical services were quite good. My sister was very uncooperative as far as my involvement at Shadelands as well as at home after discharge. She would not be one to submit survey on-line unless it was mailed in paper form. Even then she may not fill it in and submit it.

I felt the facility was clean and bright with ample open space to help both the patient and family feel comfortable. I did feel the need to be with Ed to assist with his needs since the staff was dealing with a number of patients and could not respond as fast as he sometime needed. The meals provided were fine and varied.
