We went to Canada Day concert and it was fantastic. We also enjoyed the craft fair - I was a vendor and loved being part of it. Looking forward to Halloween. Food trucks have been a very nice bonus although I would like them on a Friday so I don’t have to cook when we arrive for the weekend! Lol

The best event is Halloween as you get to socialize with many more people.

It’s rather disappointing that we no longer have bbqs. The liability issue is just an excuse as the corporation’s CGL policy would cover this liability. It was also rather disappointing to not have the kids games this year, again volunteer liability insurance is easily obtained for little cost. The bouncy castles brought in, in the words of my sister’s nieces, weee lame. No judgement on the staff as they can only do so much without support from the corporation.
