Only been 1, Canada day was great. Looking forward to more in the future.

It’s rather disappointing that we no longer have bbqs. The liability issue is just an excuse as the corporation’s CGL policy would cover this liability. It was also rather disappointing to not have the kids games this year, again volunteer liability insurance is easily obtained for little cost. The bouncy castles brought in, in the words of my sister’s nieces, weee lame. No judgement on the staff as they can only do so much without support from the corporation.

Canada Day

There was only 1. Canada Day and honestly it was pretty lack lustre.

There was supposed to be a welcome back BBQ, that was canceled last minute. On Canada Day we had a parade but there were supposed to be Olympics in the park after for the kids, that was cancelled even though others volunteered to run it. There have been no other activities. The food trucks have been fun.

We have had very few events this year. We used to have July 1 celebrations but this year no BBQ. Disappointing as we had these events for several years before.
