Communication with outside applicants

N/a

Consistency in communication across the department

Ensuring managers/directors receive thorough training prior to stepping into the full role, providing a funding pool for therapists to ensure we can purchase materials that would support patients treatment, provide outpatient more physical space (it is extremely difficult to meet with patients 1:1 or screening for acute matters when there is no space!), ensuring policies/procedures are clearly communicated and delegated in the hospital and to staff,

Staff safety ,We need more staffs in every unit

Budget for outpatientMore office spacePeople walking through outpatient office all the time when we are trying to workMore staffNot starting a bunch of programs when we are low staff

More communication, clinical over payment (some patients are rushed out of here due to payment/ insurance), more surveys to gather input/ feedback, more checkins from other admin besides dept manager.

Holding staff accountable for tardiness , attendance, and productivity.Knowing that hospital is a for profit hospital , paying better wages to staff that meet & exceed expectations to retain instead of wasting all that money rehiring(irony of being for profit ). Stop relying on responsible staff to pick up the slack for staff that doesn’t care. Responsible staff members are getting burnt out and wanting to leave. Holding everyone accountable for beacons.( Hospital is losing money rebuying beacons for carelessness’s of staff members) Staffing on the weekends are horrible, always short staff and people calling off. It’s not fair for those who show up , workload is more and we don’t get paid extra. Offer bonuses for picking up extra shifts , especially when we’re short staff. It’s not fair that we get bothered all the time to pick up shifts with no bonuses or incentives. Free employees meals, especially when staff are getting harassed to come early or stay over. (Ex. Staff members pulling doubles).

Improve on coworkers coming to work not being teammate and worker not being rude and disrespectful to one another stop the high school stuff

Continuing education opportunities. Or paid days off to attend classes. Bring in educators that specialize in behavioral health.
