1. More room for the outpatient department/ allow the department to use the yoga therapist (still don't understand why that was an issue with the IP dept. Seems a bit inappropriate for the director to not collaborate our team. Especially since they came from Outpatient.2. Listen to the therapists and staff when a patient is not appropriate for our services. Especially patients who are high risk. Or send people from different states who are suicidal to our program. It should not be just on outpatient to screen appropriate patients. The aftercare IP sets up is not appropriate and they have DC planner to my understanding.3. Gift cards that are coming out of my paycheck with interest isn't a gift... Happened last year for Christmas.I would like to believe our new CEO will be a lot better than our prior. I am a bit concerned that due to him not coming from a mental health background, it would be an issue. I hope the priority will be our patients and our staff's Well-being. Interns should be able to use the cafeteria. Staff shouldn't have to worry about paying for a meal or taking a snack. We sacrifice a lot for this job, including our breaks, to prioritize the patients. I hope funneling in more money is not the priority at the hospital. If it is, then you may lose a lot of hardworking people.

Some improvement we can adjust is to let managers and supervisors know to start accommodating and discussing to the MHT's and RN's to always stay respectful and generous to each other. The managers and supervisors should always make sure that Coworkers need to remain responsible, respectful and determined for one another. Always keep a hardworking facility for the care and quality for the patients. In the past, I have gotten physically hit by aggressive and misdemeanor patients whom got admitted onto the unit. Also high risk suicidal or self harm patients I have healed with was very challenging to me. I feel head managers, supervisors and CEO needs to be careful onto which patients are allowed to get therapeutic treatments from Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital. I have noticed and witnessed not all patients are welcome or have a guaranteed stay at SOBH because of their high risk mentally disabilities.

We need an extra person at night in the ED at Silver Cross. The workload is too much for one person especially with critical patients. Also, it takes an extremely long time to get acceptance from SOBH for a patient. We should not be waiting 2 hours for an answer. If it’s a no, tell us quickly so we can move on to finding somewhere else. We of course want everyone to go to Oaks who can but it delays discharges in the ED. A referral should be reviewed and decided on in 30mins. We have other facilities especially our sister hospitals who have great turn around in acceptance, we are lacking in that department.

Please pay people appropriately and fairly. It is incredibly upsetting how it is handled here.New employees, who are not licensed, have a larger salary than me and I have been here for almost three years. I have tried to fight for myself and it has gotten me no where. No one cares and it does make me not want to work as hard, which is upsetting. I have offered to take on more responsibilities as well, even though that was not even considered. I feel I have been taken advantage of as a worker. I have brought my concerns to my direct supervisor, CFO, and HR. All which did not get me anywhere. I feel very undervalued here which is why I am making my transition out. I made a market analysis of similar jobs in the area which also, got me no where. There is favoritism as well, which is not appreciated. I feel that I cannot approach my HR director with any concern either, as I cannot trust them not to gossip with the rest of administration. Administration seems to gossip about everything that goes on as well. There are multiple instances of sexual harassment that I have not been comfortable enough to say as I feel nothing would happen.
