Nurse and MHT to patient ratio must be based not on numbers but in patient demands/needs/Acuity.And must be based BEFORE any discharge (census).As the unit is unpredictable when it comes to admission,behaviors,Medical needs and sometimes on the day discharge/s. It is highly recommended if the house supervisor prior to next shift seen the need for staffing.It is doable with lesser staff with high acuity, but not safe for both staff and patient; it mostly causes burn-out to staffs and decreasing in patient satisfaction and poor hospital experience.With Less staff and many tasks to do.. I feel i have less interactions with my patient.. it creates lower patient expectation, poor hospital experience.Sometimes patient needs medical attention that requires ample time for assessment. Or patient needs to vent out their feelings but staff esp. RN does not have a luxury of a time to sit and talk with patients.Enough assessment time means timely patient interventions, medications and needs being cared for.And this will also boost patient hospital experience/satisfaction. And enough staff means lower the chances of fall; and safety is a timely priority with more staff on watch.Every staff needs to know their job description by heart.And no need to be reminded for their “work” for the shift and the expectations.

Improving pay sick days, for part-time and full-timeCould use another part-time worker, at night, 4 days a week.Monarch resident threatened me for another ice cream,I'm still as a part-time worker, but working about 40 hours a week, I was told that I be a Full-time. Stilling waiting answer.

Administration actually following through on investigating reported sexual harassment from staff.There is a toxic culture of administration versus direct staff. Staff bring up concerns and feel that administration just humors them without actually intending to address things. It gives the feeling of fake support. When people do report things, it’s met with retaliation- whether it be administration gossiping about them or feeling like it is held against them.

Yes stop playing favoritism recognize the people you have in the Departments and appreciate them and stop feeding us so much food we need raises please and thank you
