When requesting identification to conduct business, keep in mind, the governing bodies regarding identification, may not be able to process that information in a timely manner. My drivers license had expired. I was receiving treatment for a cancer at the time so renewing my driver's license was not a priority. A driver's license is for driving and has no relevance to my bank account. If I have an expired license, it still supports who I am because the picture in the license is still me and not a poor or distorted image either. Very disheartening to have done business with this organization. The branches are not convenient. It is probably time to close that account anyhow. I also have an account at Chase. After I did not offer an 'acceptable' ID, Chase has no problem. They were understanding and met my needs then. Nothing that Smart can do now you retain my business.

My experience with Call Center was great. My issue is that I deposited at Cashiers check intentionally, because a Cashiers check has been cleared and is basically the same as cash. I don't understand having a 7 day hold on a Cashiers check.
