The credit union made a mistake and cancelled a check I did not ask to be cancelled. I was told that I would be receiving a letter via email explaining that it was their mistake but as yet I have not gotten an email from creidt union. I need to send that letter to my HOA management company.

I have been a customer of Smart Financial Credit Union for about eight years. Their loans are very competitive, and their staff is usually extremely responsive and top notch. However, on this occasion, I received below average service from the auto loan officer Sherylondia. On the day of the closing of the loan, I worked all day to get all documents to her, as she had said, if I got everything to her by 4:30 pm, she would process the loan, so the loan could be funded, and I could pick up my car on that day. So, I worked with the auto dealer to get that done, and we did. For whatever reason, the dealership and I were not receiving the documents, and we let her know. Eventually, we received the documents, and sent them to her, both the auto dealer and I tried to call her and texted her, and emailed her, letting her know that we had not received the email with the Documents sent through Docusign, but the documents would disappear when I clicked on them. We asked to please not leave, and she left anyway. She sent a text saying the loan had been funded, and we let her known that we still did not have the final documents. I asked her please not to leave, as it was my son's birthday, and we wanted to take the car home to surprise him. She stopped answering her phone and left. So, the loan did not fund that day. I was very disappointed to see that even after I am loyal with my business, and continue to go Smart Financial for my car loans, mortgage, etc, Sherylondia did not reciprocate with the service and loyalty to show me that Smart Financial valued me as a customer. She left. I believe that a professional loan officer would have stayed and ensured the transaction was funded.
