Your website has the wrong hours . There were a lot of people in parking lot on Wednesday around 3. I know it was that way for a while and then I was told that you were open till 5 on Wednesday. Apparently not . You need to correct the time on site

I reported a new debit card on Nov. 13, 2025, and would receive it 7 to 10 business days. Have not received it. I called on Dec. 3, 2025 and reported I have not received my card and it has been 17 days. The response, maybe it was lost in the mail. I will request a new card be sent out, and it will take another 7 to 10 business days. I asked if I could be issued a temporary card. The answer was, we don’t issue temporary cards. I am frustrated having to run back and forth to withdraw money. There has to be a way of handling this issue.

There should be verification by text when an individual logs on to his accounts. This safeguard happens only occasionally but should be part of every on-line experience. There should be continuous safeguards in place to protect our accounts in Smart Financial.

We financed my husband’s Ram truck with you. The main reason we chose your bank instead of financing at the dealership was because of the promise that if interest rates got lower, we could drop to a lower rate one time during our loan. However, we got a letter a short time later stating that your bank was no longer doing that. When my husband went to the bank to ask about it, they told him that was the new policy. That was hugely disappointing to us. Your trust was broken for us.

I've been with Smart Financial when they were First Educators, so a decent amount of time. The branch near me Highway 90/Sugarland is ok. Staff are mostly friendly. However they close on a Wednesday early which to me never seemed right. Several years ago, I was asked, by I assume the manager, big fella, to remove my hat just entering the bank, not even approaching the counter, which I found was odd, and little humiliating. Overall, I think Smart Financials service and or presence has weakened over time. There was a time I loved going into First Educators bank. Now the Web portal interface is limited and outdated, and there are no incentives (interest) to grow monies in the checking/savings so I use other banks, and no flexibility when it comes to helping investors.

I have had two separate issues. A representative never called me back regarding either issue.
