Upset, with smart financial fraud center to block my debit card, because I said no to a 150.00 charge. So now I have to wait 7 days for a new card. The charge for the gas I made had gone through just fine. Then I got an alert for 150.00.

Follow up team member, Torye Sampson, was very patient and knowledgeable when fielding my additional questions. Very professional even when explaining that we were going to use dealer financing. This is why I’ve been a member for over thirty years.

I called because I am having difficulty logging into my account. She said she would reset the online account and send me a link via email. I did not get an email so I will now have to call back and wait on hold and hope someone else can help me get this straightened out.

You harassed me with more than necessary and disturbing self identification questions to access my account because I mistakenly entered my password wrong about three times after waking up from sleep. I eventually spoke to Vice President Brian, who also put me through similar process though more cordial, seemed understanding, and eventually unlocked my account. Smart Financial should get up to date with image form of identification which is common in this day and age. Other banks and financial institutions I deal with use this format.

Call center was fine. Not happy with a deposit hold put on a check which in turn caused me an insufficient charge. Seven days is ridiculous to hold a check. This especially when you have deposited the same check numerous times. Once it was deposited I could not do anything but wait. Next time I will deposit checks I need cleared at Chase that clears most immediately. If not they credit $400 with the rest available the next day.
