You closed down my nearest locations years ago. I have to drive 13 miles each way to bank with a teller. After having brought this to your attention for so long I have no expectation that you will give consideration to residents of south Montgomery County TX. Im satisfied with the service but extremely unhappy with accessability. It's a matter of time before I move to a more convenient bank because you don't seem to care.

I came into the CU because of an offer to refinance my vehicle and since the location is within 5 miles from where I live, it was convenient. I joined with a savings account while I waited for the loan decision. The refinance did not work out. Recently, I visited to make a deposit but left since only was teller was available. Personally, I prefer working with an in-person teller not one on a screen.

I got involved with “Smart” when it was a teacher’s credit union. My mom’s bank. I financed cars through them even though the bank had been sold and their goals updated. Now I stay because well it’s a financial tradition! The world has changed. Mr. Jonathan has approached that small bank air that intrigued me as a child. However the problems I have allowed/suffered are difficult to mend. Identity theft, fraud, bank practices.

I have never felt like a member/owner of SFCU. For example, I had my cash deposit 'eaten' twice at the 1960 location. I went into the branch and your representative treated me more like a criminal than a owner/member. He would not even give me a provisional credit while you investigate. Also, my atm card got 'hung up' in the old street side atm on 1960 and the machine was stuck on a loop. I went into the branch and a representative walked out, got on her cellphone and retrieved the card. She acted like she was doing me a favor and didn't even apologize for the issue.

I do not appreciate the service charge for balances under a specified amount. I do not live in the area anymore but I wanted to keep the account open to use. I did not realize that because I don't use it enough times per month or leave a large balance in the acount that I would be charged service fees.

This location needs to have machines that allow for some privacy. With having my back to the door and today's time of jugging, there should be a way for customers to feel secure especially when making a withdrawl. Or the machines needs to be brought into the lobby area or something. I do know there is a location that has the paneling on the sides to create some privacy.
