I had to close my acct after 40 yrs- I went to the Westheimer Branch @ Lamar High School-July 2026, Houston , Tx. and the manager a Caucasian lady informed and showed me documents that I had a joint person on my acct - dated 2019-- I asked that this person be removed- she informed me the person would have to be present in order for this to happen.I went to the Wayside branch on July 30?, 2026 , with the joint person, Charles White to get this done and was told this could not happen- that I would have to close the acct in order to remove this person ???I did not want to close the acct because I would have to contact all entities where I have this acct listed and that would be inconvenient for me--and asked why did the mgr tell me this misinformation?? She contacted the mgr via computer and stated that mgr said she thought I wanted to remove a beneficiary- which was not true- the mgr showed me the documented signatures which were for JOINT signage on my acct - NOT a beneficiary and if I did want to take off a beneficiary- there would be no need to have them PRESENT to remove--the person that had to be 'present' to remove took off work to come with me to get this done- only to find the mgr at the Westheimer location had given me total misinformation- and lied after the fact--I was not pleased and that mgr did not tell the truth- about what she thought I was doing--as I was very explicit as to what I was attempting to do and she ( mgr at Westheimer location) showed me the JOINT signatures-- and emphatically stated I would have to have this person PRESENT to remove them from the acct--I was not at all happy about that total misleading time wasting event- and decided to just close my account after 40 yrs- that mgr at Westheimer location should be held accountable for misleading clients and lying causing this unnecessary waste of my time and the closing of my account!!!!

You need to bring the drive through tellers back. I feel safer with my transactions. I don’t like people listening and watching me while transacting my finances.
