I'm an old man and I prefer to speak to the teller face to face. I must admit, however, that Carmenwas very helpful.

A few things. First, I worked for over twenty years at CU's, last at Continental CU as Regional VP. Second, I understand the need to place holds on checks presented for deposit, especially for personal checks and unknown out of town entities. Third, a check drawn against the Teacher Retirement system of the State of Texas should not be one of those entities, and yet David wanted to place a hold on my wife's retirement check. Typically, her retirement would have been direct deposited, but the paperwork to access our new Smart CU checking account (after fraud in the prior account) had not been processed in time. Fourth, in the end, David was able to lift the hold, but only after a lengthy delay. This should not have taken place. Roger Eddy

Was going to exchange coins but that wasn’t possible but the staff was so helpful even sitting down with us to try and roll the quarters. Great customer service.
