Gossip and unprofessional communication across departments, leading to tension, low morale and difficulties collaborating. Pay is below market standard in all departments and roles leading to issues retaining staff. Inconsistent policy enforcement leading to mistrust and culture issues.

NA

MORE RN STAFF!!! I haven’t had a single week where I haven’t felt short staffed to the point of fearing I’d make a mistake because I was behind on a ton of tasks- and that means I get almost no actual time with patients aside from passing meds. Having said that everyone there works so hard, and is incredibly accommodating to needs. Also 5:30-6 is the perfect time to take a lunch some days- why can’t it be that late? A lot of us don’t get an appetite until later in the day anyways.

Human Resources responding and being available

They should improve staffing on each unit to ensure the safety of both patients and staff. There should be at least 3 nurses assigned per unit.

Need more than two employees per unit no matter how low census is. It is nearly impossible to be in three places at once as rounds are needed at the same time as game room, gym etc. need at least two MHT and one nurse or one MHT and two nurses otherwise rounds will get behind.

Needs to give more hours not less an increase wages to make life affordable don't increase by 50 cents each year it needs to be affordable wages where we can live an not work 3 jobs shuffle life. If ur wanting less people to work then have this, 10 hours shift 4 days a week three days off or more hours. Could also improve the food choices. Need to set a work an life health balance work is not the goal to death, you want people to stay longer an come work for yeah then do this 4 days a week of work 10 hours shift better paying wages of all departments from bottom their job to top pay has to be past 20 an hour, and 3 days off. Care about ur employees were not worker drones in a Amazon factory.

I believe Smokey point should improve on infection control measures have better hygiene conditions if possible have assess to unit hand wash stations. Improve on materials that are needed for work have an enough tablets and vital signs machines to make work smooth for both patients and staff.

Computers for each person who needs to use one during the day not sharedMore reasonable wages for the wide range of positionsBetter training and CE opportunitiesAdvancement opportunitiesEasier access to impacts cardsWE NEED ACTUAL INTERPRETATION not just the phone or iPad that we can’t usually get charged anyway and the interpretation can hear and the patient can’t hear and the communication
