Pay needs to improve. Not competitive with other psych facilities. Increased compensation for ones with psych experience. Don’t low ball people with experience to try and get a lower rate. You get what you pay for if you try and hire the cheapest personWe need better supplies that are organized. Better pays and/or raises. If there was good starting pay, I'd be more inclined to redact that statement; but at this time for my job the median pay in Washington State and in the US my pay grade at SPBH is on the very low end. Then with some investigation and research on my own end, raises here are seldom. With the cost of living going up and WA being one of the most expensive states to live in, I feel that raises should be offered more than once a year and even if that, I've spoken to some employees inside and out of my department who haven't received a raise and they have been here far longer than I have. Raises are like an incentive to do better and to go beyond of what you're asked but when you're already doing that, like I am, it's hard not to "act your wage" when there's no incentive to work towards a higher dollar. I am constantly being told how good of a job I am doing but when my pay doesn't reflect my work ethic it makes it hard to want to continue to go above and beyond. And if not, I believe it is fair to acknowledge things along the pay/raises/scale on the job description, so future employees know what to expect.
