I've decided I'm going to go with cellular Celestial solar because that salesman was far more knowlegable than yours about the equipment and the installation process

Only gave 8 for performance because, through much of this fall and winter, it underperformed the goals of producing 110% of usual power consumption and electric power $ independence, although I recognize that solar production is lower during those seasons. Probably should have spec’d higher than 110% during the design stage. I’ll keep track of performance through the spring and summer to reconsider this review.

Daren was very informative and personable and not pushy, which was great. He answered all of our questions, made sure we understood all of the financial information, and gave our needy dog attention. 10/10.

Our install was delayed by several months, that was not helpful since we missed the prime time for generating energy. Part of it was supply chain, but also confusion with permitting in the county. The Solar rep who was supposed to meet the inspector was also late twice forcing more delay and it did not make the inspectors very happy. Lastly, at least on the ground install, a rep should be there when the switch is thrown to bring it on line and CHECK IT. Another two week delayed when I pointed out it did not appear to be on line. The company did not agree and did not send someone out for a couple of weeks before he confirmed it was NOT on line. This would be prevented by having a rep on site when the switch is thrown or as a follow up. Our sales person was very good and worked to get all things fixed. But if there is a problem more timely action should occur, especially with the amount of money being spent.
