I didn't expect a sales call or pressure to sign a contract for a drone survey. We just wanted information about the process based on where we are at in our home building process. Wanted more info about ground mounted solar panels.

Well my breaker has been periodically going off since having the system installed and wasn’t an issue before installation. Also the verdict is still out on how much I’m saving right now my loan is 122 monthly, my delivery charged has increased 3x the amount around 60.00, during the winter months not too much of a savings. I will see how spring and summer is.

I have to say I am 76 years old. I have owned my own company and I also had sales people that he was one of the best that I’ve ever seen he was not one of the sales people that come and it’s just looking to make a sale. He went over everything that we could understand he was respectful, courteous down to earth one of them guys not pushy made it forever, lasting impression with myself and my wife. I don’t think that he’s just a sales person. I think he also could very well be an enhancement to a company to instruct other sales people how to make customers feel comfortable with somebody that’s trying to sell them stuff and not being pushy if I was still in business, I would’ve probably tried to steal him from you is the type of salesman I would love to have. He explained to everything if it was something we didn’t understand he made sure before he left. We was comfortable with everything he did say. Look forward to doing business with him and because of the way he was I will definitely pass it on with my friends. You do have a great Bella in him don’t lose him there hard to come by.

Unfortunately we got off to a bumpy start. During the scheduling process I was told the rep prefers to be in person rather the phone so that is what I agreed to, assuming he wanted to see the outside of the home and the direction and orientation of the roof. When the rep arrived he seemed annoyed that I wouldn’t let him inside, even after I explained the circumstance of having a very sick dog suffering from kidney disease and didn’t want the dogs wound up causing a disturbance to my husband who was working and in a meeting at the time. I shouldn’t have had to go into detail, but the dog who is ill also has a great deal of anxiety and will bark for several minutes getting the puppy riled up as well. Our house is just not suited for strangers. After I explained why he couldn’t come in his demeanor changed, coming off annoyed and disrespectful. He expressed his frustration that he drove an hour all the way out here, when I offered to talk in the garage to protect us from the wind he refused because there was nowhere to sit, again it wasn’t communicated to me that there would be a sit down presentation that required the use of my home, otherwise I would have opted for the phone call. I have never invited anyone doing work to the outside of my home into my home and was shocked by his attitude and the expectation to be let in. Had I known this consult required a sit down inside my home I would have opted for the call instead. He eventually suggested he go to his car to call me while I go inside my home so we can go over the details over the phone to which I agreed. The call didn’t get much better, he asked if I knew anything about solar panels/how they worked, I said not really just looking to save money on my steadily increasing electric bill. He then asked how serious I was about wanting solar panels because he didn’t want to waste my time. I was taken back by that comment since I’m the one who arranged the meeting, he wasn’t wasting my time, however he made it obvious that I was wasting his. The reason I called in the first place was to get info and a cost estimate. Of course I was serious, I wanted to get more info on solar panels to see if it was a good fit. He answered my questions but overall I was rubbed the wrong way from our interaction at my front door. At the end of the call he came off pushy wanting me to make a decision and put my husband on the phone to answer any questions my husband may have to which my husband was not available. He also told me we would get a $500 gift card if we signed on within 24 hrs. I told him I could call him at some point tomorrow (Friday) with a decision but I couldn’t guarantee when because my kids are home from school Friday and Monday and I would be tending to them. I’m not sure if the rep was having a bad day, or if he is always this way, or if the company puts pressure on the rep to push and sell something that day, but quite frankly I will not make such a big decision in the moment and maybe not even within 24 hours, there are many options to weigh especially after just learning how the contract works. My husband and I are undecided if solar panels are right for us, but I can say this company is not right for us based on my experience with the rep.
