Need new carpet but can’t afford to move and put back furniture. Carpet is old and loose. I’ve tripped on it.

Your prices are too high and not competitive. There are other new builds for 55 plus that are brand new at lower rates. I can move to a brand new property and save big. I can get a brand new one bedroom with shower and tub with crown mounding. And no gray paint/ and a/c hallways and a garage plus fees trash water internet for 1620. Why would I stay here at 1970 plus garage trash and water which would be over 2000 a month for a one bedroom ? And the 2 bedroom two bath at the new competition is starting at 1600 -You have fabulous management team and maintenance in place and good units but your pricing is too high to keep me. You should definitely re-look at your prices. Yes, I know this is a lease up special at a new build but it makes sense to save $$$$$ in the short term. My deciding factor is price.

Solea is the best place to leave. The area, the neighbors, the place is always clean, very good maintenance, in the garden and all the whole building.

I am a strong community member here and plan to stay. I remain concerned about the cost of living and any rent increase in my future. I continue to be aware of senior apartment availability in Katy, because I have to stay informed of my options. . I love my Solea community.

The grounds need some serious help. Most of the bushes are sparce and look horrible. There is no way for the residents to water the first floor yards. My yard is mostly weeds. The only time it gets watered is when it rains.The exercise room is too cramped--pool area lacks sufficient chairs/ umbrellas.We have a pickle ball court and a putting green that rarely get used.I really like my apartment in spite of the fact it took 4 tries to repair my flooring. We suffered back lash from the Maintenance manager because we did not move al of our furniture out of the apartment. Unfortunately we had no alternative to move all our furniture. We were still actively living in our apartment.Most resident planned events are well planned. I wonder about the Sparrow events some times. We either get not enough food or too much.I feel our rent is outrageous. Most of our residents are on SS. The average increase for SS each year is 2% or less, while the rents increase by at least 4% each year. That just doesn't make sense to me. I do like the two year lease offers---it helps a little bit. Where does corporate think residents will get the funds to handle a 4% increase when SS only increases 2%.This is my home. Corporate needs to get better user friendly furniture for the club house, the amount of things that have to be moved for large activities is not user friendly at all.The hosting team has tried very hard to come up with a layout that would both accommodate at least 125 attendees and cut down on the amount of table set up /tear down. But the corporate bosses refuse to allow us to set the room up to make it user friendlier. The money spent on the pickle ball court and putting green would have been better spent on clubhouse furniture.
