When Melissa started last year she sold us all shit dreams. Crystal the last director was there to hear it all. She was nice but the job was too much for her. It was all bullshit what Melisa told us. Melisa is a scam artist. We work very hard, they say we are the heart of the hospital. Nobody cares. Wendy has been doing the best she can working like a slave but she can’t change anything without permission from Master Melisa. I hope Wendy doesn’t leave us.

No matter how many times staff and our director has asked for help with how belongings are processed, nobody listens. Now there’s missing money, confusion, and staff overloaded when the census is high. It’s getting real old. We even told Melissa in a meeting that the way she wants belongings done is not working. We have too many walk-ins and transfers for this mess.Any hospital I have ever worked at always had dedicated staff for belongings. Why can’t we do the same to help take some pressure off?Even Randy from corporate came to intake and answered phones to help out. Melissa won’t even do that. She barely comes to the intake office, and when she does, she acts like we’re beneath her. Staff is tired of feeling looked down on while we’re the ones carrying the load.

More staff & higher staffing ratio. Two staff when transporting patients.Appropriate adjustments when low staffed, rather than dispersing workload upon staff who are already at capacity.Better office spaces and more computers.Get Microsoft Teams for communication & shared documents.Communicate through work email more often for updates & events.Hold more meetings for departments to address concerns & meet staff face to face.

Respecting their employees, paying for outside ceu and other trainings. We would like to hear when we are doing good not just when things are not going so good, The CEO need to get to know the employees and not be lock in their offices all the time

Housekeeping a hire pay increase for all the hard work they have to go through. Other hospitals housekeeping pay is above $19.00 an hour.Appreciate staff (back of house) not with food or big events. Telling us in person or impact cards that we are appreciated.More South sound swag like jacket, t shirts for everyday work attire.Otherwise I am very happy where I work. My boss Kevin is an amazing boss as he answers a lot of my questions and helps when we need him. Thank you south sound Behavioral Health for being here for the community.

Staffing levels but recently this has improved. Ensuring other departments understand how intake functions and operates so there is a mutual understanding of the stressors.

Intake continues to need some assistance. It’s difficult for 1 nurse to do all the assessments on a busy shift the clinican staff has been increased if there would be a way for a mid shift nurse that would help amazingly to be able to have someone just for inventory control. It can get out of control very fast. Items continue to get misplaced, mislabeled and missing
