I found it confusing that my initial schedule had monitoring appointments listed for 4-6am when the earliest appointment I had was at 7 and most were later.

Reflecting on my egg freezing process with Spring, I wanted to share my disappointment with how my expectations were managed throughout the ultrasounds and checkups. When I first went in for a baseline, everything looked normal and good to go with 8 follicles on each side and a goal of retrieving 12-15 eggs. Then there were curve balls with cysts and follicles growing at different paces which I understand is unpredictable. But I was still told that we were looking at retrieving around 10 eggs which was slightly less than the doctor had hoped. Upon retrieval I was told 3 of my follicles were empty with chats and that another 3 were slightly smaller so likely not mature eggs and that I would be told my final count. When I found out I had only 6 eggs frozen, I was deeply disappointed to hear a number much lower than expected. I feel as though my expectations weren�t managed very well throughout and that the doctors operated on the side of overly positive and over promising. I understand they can�t give an exact estimate, but hearing higher numbers and then getting less was not a great experience. I share this because I know your office cares and wants the best outcome for your patients. But I would have rather been told realistically what my egg count would be with all factors considered and informed of possibilities such as cysts occurring etc.

I had a very comfortable and informative experience with the whole team. Only wish they had 5pm + hours.
