I am very happy with my results and impressed with the care I was given overall. The only complaint I have concerns the blood draws- particularly one time where I could sense the person was distracted while talking to coworkers even before the blood draw, inserted the needle painfully into a blood vessel that is not commonly drawn from where there�s a nerve under it, resulting in intense bruising and pain that I felt up my arm and into my shoulder for about a week. Normally I�m not afraid of blood draws, but after that I was worried every time and let each person know after to be careful please. Apart from that, I�m very satisfied with my results and care!

Overall I would say very positive experience. However, I found it quite frustrating that we weren't able to speak to our doctor. Specifically, when we got the long consent forms to sign, I had a lot of questions about what we were signing and the tradeoffs around the decisions, and I asked to speak to Dr Yoder multople times and that was evaded, until I finally called and demanded this more firmly. Then my questions were answered in 5 minutes! But overall I feel there should be more communication around the consent forms and an open line to the doctor if you want to understand the impact of your decisions around such an important topic. I also felt the post retrieval/recovery process was not clearly explained. I was not aware of how much pain I'd be in or how lengthy the recovery was and was not really informed or warned about this at any point. The embryo testing costs were also not clearly displayed in the overall pricing/financial estimates and now that we have 11 embryos that's a pretty big bill that we weren't prepared for or had budgeted around.
