Really appreciate our nurses during this time- Tiffany was always ready to pick up the phone to answer questions and Marisa was a delight to work with the day of the retrieval.

The IVF/egg retrieval experience was great. I wish I was a little more prepared on what i could or couldn't do leading up to the retrieval (tylenol, heat packs). I also wish there had been more "teaching" about the ivf process and expectations in the 2 weeks before IVF started.

I was disappointed I didnt have any appointments with my primary provider. When I asked to speak to my provider on the phone given an upcoming egg retrieval on the weekend and still not seeing my provider, I was declined. I knew my provider was making the decisions but it was stressful never speaking with her given the expense and my relatively poor stimulation response. The rest of the team was great but for the commitment and expense I had an expectation of talking to my doctor at least once during the stimulation period prior to trigger.

There is so much information to convey and I felt the Spring team did a good job overall. For me, the recovery time post-retrieval was more like 2.75 days than one day, and I wish I had understood that better so I could have arranged for more childcare. Separate point: there are a LOT of subsequent steps for the embryos post-retrieval. Some kind of info graphic would be helpful.

Had a great experience. Thank you for the amazing care.

One of the best possible experiences. Super grateful for everyone

I waited over a month to have my recap meeting with Dr. Dovey -- the first availability was in December, about a month after my retrieval. I waited by my phone for the call for half an hour and it never came-- when I called in, I was told it had been cancelled THE DAY before (after waiting a month!) And that I should talk to my new doctor in SF instead. When I finally had the consult with the new doctor, she said she couldn't tell me much about this retrieval since she didn't work on it, which is reasonable. But it means that I never got any follow up after this November retrieval, in addition to never being told that my follow up was going to be canceled in the first place (I checked that it was still scheduled the day before the call, it disappeared the day of on the portal). So not only did I not get the information I needed, I was really yanked around and my time wasted.
