I was sent some paperwork and information sheets after our initial consult, but my husband was not. I�m not sure if that was an oversight but it made him feel left out of the process (especially because there is information on the semen analysis which directly applies to him) and it puts more work on me to make sure he has access to the information he needs. It kind of made me feel like the clinic assumed I would be taking primary responsibility for the logistics of our fertility care. I already have a higher burden of in stimulating ovulation and trying to gestate a human being, just want you to be aware that small things like this are what add up to women taking on more logistical/emotional labor than men.

Spring has a lot of people who make up the patient care team but the patient isn�t introduced to them right away and connecting with them is difficult (eg email messages only). Not good.

I wasn't particularly happy with the outcome of this cycle. I understand that every cycle is different, but this cycle had no viable embryos to biopsy for genetic testing. I was fortunate to have insurance to cover cost, but this time I felt like my treatment basically fried my eggs for lack of better words. I stimmed for 9 days instead of the usual 15. I think it would be best to explain the outcomes you all have seen when substituting drugs during a drug shortage. I don't want to be experimented on.
