The nurse who called with my progesterone results, Samantha, wasn't able to provide information or context to help us understand the result (e.g., did it raise red flags? Would it negatively affect the outcome?), which resulted in unnecessary anxiety. I spoke with my regular nurse, Mel, the next day, and she provided much more helpful information. This has been an issue with past test results from Spring as well--just providing the number but not how to interpret/understand it and what it means for your outcome

I wish that the doctor would talk to me more about your steps and discuss different options. I didn't realize that I had the option of transferring a previously frozen egg during my proximate egg retrieval. when I asked about doing this the doctor said that it's possible but because we didn't plan on it earlier I didn't take the right medication. The sound means I have to wait another month to do the egg transfer and have to take shots whereas if I just did it during the retrieval I might have not had to do that. ultimately we might have decided not to do the transfer of the ec retrieval but not having that as an option to talk through was frustrating
