I want to clarify that my patient navigator was awesome but that the information at the beginning was a lot and I don�t think I fully understood the timeline of the stuff that happens prior to starting the shots. I would just recommend maybe making that more clear especially for noobs like me to the process. I would also like to suggest allowing patient to opt in to get updates via text message especially for those messages that don�t have HIPPA concerns. It would have been great to get reminders like �make sure you have all of your medication, if not order today!� messages via text because personally, I tried to check e-mail and the portal often but you have to go through steps to get to the actual message and isn�t as quick or efficient as SMS. I would also like to suggest that allowing secure upload of documents by patients directly to the portal would be a helpful feature to add for the future. Thank you to the team at Spring Oakland! Dr. Okeigwe and team were so accommodating and communicative. I always felt that I received the right amount of detailed information and context on my care, which was really important to me. At the end of the initial consult, we were scheduled for a video call with a Patient Navigator. She sent an email about the information and the link to join her meeting. It would be better if she sent a calendar invitation as well, so we could just do 1-click to add the appointment on our calendars.
