Generic texts of templates were sent that were not specific to the consult I had. There is so much information and it was overwhelming to them receive messages with even more information not specific to my care plan goals. Templates were sent by finance and patient navigator that were unrelated to my care. Doc and nurses were great, the admin team did not customize their information and it was overwhelming and not relevant.

Have been regularly discouraged at how often people seem to forget or underrate the severity of my needle phobia. In the beginning I asked if there was anything people did to help make needles easier and I got no advice. But after my own research it turns out there's tons of stuff to try! For example, injecting very slowly. Nobody at the clinic ever suggested this but it took me injections from unbearable to borderline workable. Also I think third freezing round they must have forgotten about my phobia because they put the iv in well before it was time to go back. My second round they waited until the last minute to place the IV and that was significantly better.

My overall experience of Spring was that it is incredibly organized and well-setup to do standard egg freezing. It felt a little effortful to get advice on my specific experience, which I started turning to chatGPT for instead. For example I learned I should be taking prenatal supplements and ubiquinol through talking to ChatGPT, and then later confirmed that with nurses at Spring. What I think surprised me was that before deciding to begin a cycle there was no consultation with a nurse about making a specific plan to me and what to expect from the injections, and why my doses were what they were.

I am beyond grateful to everyone at Spring. Doctor Dovey and her staff are the best. I have recommended a number of people to the Oakland location.

Did not do in person appointment. Paperwork was hard to navigate
