I appreciate how well the process works from start to finish and am very impressed by the whole spring team. I only had two small hiccups. One when I needed to order more meds one weekend and couldnt get same day, Spring didnt have any extra on hand so we had to pick up at SF pharmacy. Would be great if Spring always had extra inventory for emergencies. Also it looks like we will need to do another cycle. We would have preferred to start cycle immediately following first however now it looks like we have to wait a month. Seems like we could have easily addressed earlier in the process. Came as a surprise to us.

Ive asked questions at front desk and voicemail for admin, and never gotten response even though promised one. For example, Im always told reciept will go to my portal, when they dont arrive Ive called and asked in person, never got assistance or resolution. Overall, I love Spring and highly recommend!

The care I received on the day of my retrieval was exceptional. Everyone was so caring and helpful. It calmed my nerves some and I felt like I was in good hands. One comment on the embryo reports was one day I received two calls from two different nurses. They both verbally reported different numbers. That was a bit confusing, but ultimately my nurse walked me through everything so I was clear on results. For next phase of treatment, I am assuming I will learn more after genetic testing results come back in two weeks and we discuss options with the doctor.

The transfer was quick and efficient which was great. I totally trusted the doctor knew what he was doing, but he didnt greet us before going into the transfer room and showed a quick photo of our embryo as I was laying disk on the exam table and had me quickly sign a form. I would have liked to do this before going into the exam room and given the opportunity to ask questions. Its such an emotional day and it helps when the doctors take time to greet you and reassure us.

My in-person fertility experience has been excellent so far. My IVF prospects are uncertain; however, I feel very supported. The process of moving forward with out-of-state known donors has been trickier logistically. My care team is working hard, and I'm tremendously grateful for the extra time they put in to walk two donors through testing. However, it feels we are learning about the out-of-state donor process together. Communication misses and small mistakes suggest that they've had less practice -- which means more time, legwork, and uncertainty. That's been my only significant source of stress in the fertility process. They've navigated all other aspects of my care seamlessly. I've been especially grateful for how seamless they've made the scary process of managing medications, scheduling, learning how to do injections, surgery.... All the things I expected to be most stressful. Spring's staff is so dedicated to supporting their patients. I have no doubt that the out of state donor support will improve with practice.
