I feel that I�ve been informed about different elements of our treatment, but not educated. I feel like I am receiving care, but I�m not participating in it and that is leaving me feeling disempowered, scared, and confused throughout a majority of this process. For the amount that we are paying, I wish I didn�t have to resort to friends with lived experience and Google to answer a lot of of my questions. I feel that the visits are rushed, and my team can be hard to get a hold of.

During the early phases of this process I struggled to get in touch with the patient coordinator or team, which led to confusion about when I should start a medication. Once I reached the injection and ultrasound phase, things improved. But it was initially rather stressful.

I need upfront transparency. If my insurance is not in network I need to know BEFORE my initial appointment. Now I have to change clinics and push back time with a new clinic.
