Care team across the board is great. Patient navigator seemed a little swamped and not always able to provide timely responses, in some instances I made sure to follow up to avoid missing deadlines for medication ordering. Making it more clear if this is expected for the patient to be following up by a certain date would be helpful if thats expected. It would be helpful during the medication call for the nursing team to communicate that if the pharmacy has ordered more or less than the allotted medications, that you dont need to buy all that they may have available or bundled. I wasnt super clear that the pharmacy could make mistakes and didnt as diligently check if they were giving me too much. Not a huge issue for me since I seem to have good coverage but a reminder from the nursing staff on this would be helpful. The clearest part of the process for me was the steps outlined between egg retrieval through PGT-A testing. Knowing the exact dates follow up was expected and then Spring following through on that was helpful. In other areas of the process this can sometimes feel murkier. All of the staff are very compassionate and good at what they do. I did decide to join the IVF support group and feel that there should be a separate specific group for LGBTQ+ folks as there are significant differences in experiences with the IVF process. Ensuring that the group leader is informed on what these experiences are and that they go out of their way to validate queer experiences would also make the group feel more inclusive and supportive. Allowing folks to interact and mindfully guiding the group and providing more tangible coping tools would also be helpful as it currently feels too heavily moderated without providing enough tools to be a valuable repeat need. Great to meet some of the folks in the group that are local to me however as we have connected outside of the group and Ive found that to be the most valuable part of this. Lastly, just want to shout out the excellent doctors at Spring especially Dr Wu and the retrieval nurse who helped with pre and post care. Great care and empathy.

I had to have blood drawn after my appointment. Im aware that my veins are hard to find most of the time but I had 3 different people come in to help and was poked at least 4 times. This added an extra half hour to my appointment. I tried to mention a couple of times that maybe that day wasnt the best day to draw for blood but they made it seem like I didnt have a choice.

I am grateful for Dr Rubin and Dr Kornfield being very cautious with my PCOS, I didnt have any terrible symptoms and I think partly is was being prepared if not over prepared for the potential for certain symptoms and taking the right things for it. Thank you to all the folks how I worked with during my appointments. After reading stories of other peoples experiences online are particularly thankful the REs doing the ultrasounds, results for labs being shared and posted on the app, and just general openness to help out with financial and other questions we have.

We had to jump into fertility treatment very quickly and it made things a bit chaotic. The team at Spring has been supportive, understanding and responsive. Communication with primary patient is significantly better than communication with partner due to lack of ability to have group messages.
