Spring was wonderful to work with in all aspects except financial. Financial was hard to talk to, confusing, didnt answer questions directly and gave extremely important information only after I asked the right questions. Otherwise, I was impressed by the little extras that Spring provided vs OHSU. The biggest comfort and relaxer was being invited to sit in a massaging heat chair for 15 mins prior to surgery. So smart! Thank you guys. I hope to not see you for another transfer until 2 years from now ha

The bill before the cash discount is insane. We paid cash and are submitting the bill to insurance for reimbursement. I am anxious to see what will be covered and at what level. Billing is still a mystery. Feedback re blood draws-I had a trainee or new employee try to take my blood toward the end of my cycle, when my arms and veins were already tired. New hires should not be poking people with tired veins. I ultimately had to be poked twice that day, and the tenured employee was the one who ended up getting my blood drawn. I appreciate the phone call with instructions, followed up by the message in the portal regarding medication changes. That was helpful communication for me.

Once I was primarily in the hands of the nursing staff, I felt better about the whole process. I had a rough time with the patient navigator, and them not actually remembering anything about what they previously discussed with me, which caused a lot of anxiety and lack of trust that I was being taken care of. I feel perhaps they have too much on their plates, and maybe a different system could help keep all the patient in order for them.

Im hoping there will be a coordinated care model with OHSU, as its important to me to be able to continuing billing insurance for diagnostic and pre-transfer care.
