Just to be more upfront regarding insurance. Financial meeting got pushed out couple times, then we learned Spring is not Partnered with Eatna. This resulted in changing from embryo freezing to egg freezing and us paying $300 for husband sperms sample that was not used. Experience with everything else was great.

Dr. Rubin is a phenomenal provider who I trusted completely with my care. She not only made evidence-based, individualized medical decisions for me that helped me get the result that I did, she also asked me at every turn what she could do to help make me more comfortable, she provided me with all of the information I asked for, and I felt so reassured knowing how much she cared about my well-being and goals. She scheduled me on days she was in the office when she could, she came in on one of her non-clinical day to do my procedure, and is clearly putting a lot of thought into whether a 2nd cycle makes sense for me. I would recommend her to anyone; Spring is clearly so lucky to have her. I also want to add that the nurses were helpful and responsive and clearly extremely knowledgable. I felt very comfortable on retrieval day (even having never had surgery before) thanks to the providers there. Everyone who drew my blood made it very easy and were personable and understanding. I fully understand that I was one of the first patients at Spring Portland so knew going in there may be a few bumps and systems get set up. I did want to share a bit of feedback regarding a few things (outside of my actual healthcare providers who again were fantastic!) in the hopes that it helps to further improve care for future patients going through this. I did struggle a bit in interactions with my patient navigator. During our initial meeting they encouraged me to stop taking any notes and told me they would send me all of the information I needed over a message in Salve after the visit, which I never got. They also said they had scheduled me with the Financial Navigator, but when our appointment time came and went, I messaged the financial navigator who said that I wasn't on their schedule (I had to order meds that day so was never able to meet with them, though did get my questions answered over chat in the app). Finally, there were issues getting in touch with the on-call provider. First, I was told to call over the weekend when I received a positive ovulation result. When I did call there was no menu option to talk to anyone over the weekend. I was assured that this would be fixed in coming weekends (which it was!). The night I took my trigger meds I also had a bit of a reaction that wasn't listed as common side effects in the app. As someone going through this process alone, I was pretty concerned and left a message for the on call provider but never received a call back. Everything worked out fine and I felt better by the next morning. Dr. Rubin did ask me about the trigger meds before my procedure and when I shared what had happened she followed up with the on-call fellow who had never gotten my message (so there was something wrong with the paging system). Dr. Rubin was concerned on my behalf and apologized and again, everything turned out fine, and I know how important it is to have access to a provider if something worse had occurred. Lastly, it would be so helpful to have a back-up ride option (e.g., medical transport service) available to patients! I'm sure its stressful to many of us to find a ride with so little notice and I would have loved knowing there was a backup option in case.

The ring central app was cumbersome and didnt work had to do it all over the phone.

What i have cone to appreciate most at Spring is all the little things I didnt even know were missing from my last clinic, like clothing hooks and privacy curtains in the exam rooms, or printed embryo reports in addition to a verbal updates over the phone. Ive been very happy with my care at Spring.

Everyone we worked with was really kind and helpful. A special shout out to Ann the phlebotomist who managed to keep my husband from passing out during his blood draw. She was so quick to react and so sweet and knowledgeable. It's clear there are many talented people at spring
