My egg retrieval on Feb 4th, Saturday with on call Doctor Dr Kim was not as good as what I expected. First, I had 10 follicles on trigger day and she only retrieved 5 eggs, while last 2 times egg retrievals Dr Tran was able to retrieved around 80% -100% of my follicles. Second, my blood pressure got very high around 199/150 after my egg retrieval m, which envy happened in my life. The highest I got in clinic normally was 150/100, and at home was normally around 130/80. The very high blood pressure kept on for about one hour in San Francisco Spring, the nurse had to kept me longer there to be better, the same night at home I got 130/90 number. Third, I got severe abdominal pain and constipation the first night after egg retrieval, even with Norco pain medication did work. I woke up at 4 am and sit in the restroom for more than half an hour didn�t work. The pain last for 6 hours the first day, after 2 days getting better. But the first 2 times retrievals with Dr Tran, the pain was minor and manageable, only felt the minor pain about 30 minutes to an hour, the experience were very different.

Every appointment, I am welcomed with great energy and exceptional patient care from start to finish for each appointment and would like to recognize the check in staff, MAs, phlebotomists and nurses! The communication within all of the teams has been seamless for each appointment. I would like recognize Lauren and Gigi. Lauren has gone above and beyond to ensure all my questions are answered and always provides thorough information. She has always gone the extra mile for me and is extremely prompt in all of her responses. Gigi has also been great, she clearly communicates all the medication information and care plan during each call and does an amazing job at explaining all of the clinical information post retrieval. Lauren and Gigi are both an absolute pleasure to work with. Priscilla and Nhi have been very helpful to get the necessary documentation for insurance related claims. Priscilla has taken the time to help me understand the pre-authorization finance related information and I am very appreciative. Our pre- op experience has always been exceptional. We have had the same nurse, Whitney, for the retrievals and she has always gone above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and ready for the procedure. She is very thorough and ensures to review all of the information with us in great detail. The experience post op has also been amazing! Both of the post op nurses went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They were so helpful and caring during the entire process and for the post op telephone check ins. They were extremely attentive and did an amazing job to ensure I felt safe and comfortable when waking up from anesthesia. I would like to recognize Dr. Murugappan who has gone above and beyond to provide exceptional patient care. She has made this experience into a very positive one. It�s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care while providing outstanding quality of medical care. She has taken the time to explain all the treatment options thoroughly and ensure I felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire process. During the day of the procedure she made the time to check in before and after the procedure. We are so grateful for Dr. Murugappan for providing high quality, compassionate care. Overall, the entire spring experience is very impressive. During each retrieval, each team member went above and beyond the day of the procedure, all while being so positive and kind. I believe this is what distinguishes Spring from the rest. The entire staff provides the best care and timely follow up�s! Having chronic health issues, I've dealt with many different healthcare settings. I was not only impressed by, but super grateful for, the level of care and kindness I received. It genuinely felt like the team was cheering you on for the best results and were there for you every step of the way. It was a big (and kinda scary) decision to move forward, but I was quickly put at ease by the straightforward, yet caring, conversations I had with the team.

I voiced my concerns a while back about my better graded day 5 embryo being of the lowest confidence on the PGT testing. She reassured me that they had already chosen another embryo (a day 6 that had a good grade and better PGT confidence). When I went in for my transfer, however, I found out that the embryo they prepared was the very one I had concerns about.

Dr Tran is extremely rude. His demeanor anytime you K him a question is "just shut up and do what I tell you. I can't be bothered to try to explain anything to you"
