More precise cost estimates otherwise everything was great

Superb experience!! Thanks to Dr. Pasternak and her team!

I started my fertility journey at another clinic and my experience with Spring has been night and day difference - for the better! Spring has been such a breath of fresh air and I'm extremely grateful for the staff, patient care and total experience. I have 3 recommendations for improvement of the process. 1. Maybe it's because of Covid, but I was not fully aware of the full process when I started. I found myself asking Patient care a lot of questions and it feel like it wasn't clear from the very beginning. 2. The most nervous moment I've had through this whole process was when I walked into the "operating room" for the egg retrieval procedure. I had no idea what to expect. I was nervous, the room was dark and cold and there are a lot of wires, and a slightly scary chair to sit in. To improve patient experience, I would recommend that when the nurse walks you into the room, you pause at the entrance of the room and the nurse tells you what happens next. "You're going to sit there, put your legs here. The anesthesiologist is going to get you hooked up, etc." Even just taking a pause before rushing into the room and rushing you onto the chair to start the procedure, would be helpful and ease the nerves. 3. During every monitoring session, the nurses should be trained to ask the patient if they need to order more meds. There are so many things going through your mind during each appointment and its easy to forget the little things. Several times I would get home after the appointment and think "SHOOT I forgot to order more meds!"

The patient care team felt absent throughout the entire process. I would go in for appointments and have no idea I needed to do a blood draw. The emails had so much information in them to the point where it was hard to follow (5 font colors is too many colors). At one point both my nurse and navigator were OOTO and I had no idea. Just not a ton of communication or empathy it felt at times. The in-person visits were always fantastic. I had to call after hours nurse a few times and that was a great experience too.

The antibiotic shot (think it might have been doxycycline) prior to the egg retrieval was the most unbearable injection Ive ever had. By far the worst part of the whole experience. I had the same injection previously (prior to my D&C for missed miscarriage a few months ago) and it was only slightly irritating. Please correct this for those of us that cant take penicillin because no one should have to do that... I think you just water the antibiotic down (I know thats not the right term but you know what I mean). Only real complaint

I always rave about the communication Spring has. Everyone is always so pleasant and helpful. Everything is explained very thoroughly and I never leave with questions. Also the office is always super clean!

I tried to provide you with the name of the person who recommended me spring, but couldnt know where to mention. In case that helps her name is Ronita Monday and shes currently also a patient at Spring. Thanks for everything, really great team and care.

The only reason why I wasnt happy with the outcome was bc the outcome is just terrible for my age group. But i knew this going into the treatment.

Felt very rushed to leave after the transfer. Asked the medical assistant if we could have a moment to say a prayer and be alone and she basically said no they needed the room.

Dr. Klatskys care team is the BEST!!! Catherine is my absolutely favorite - so friendly, sweet, thorough with the best analogies :) Everyone else is also great but wanted to really give a shout out to Catherine. ??
