We made decisions to proceed to a replacement cohort of donor eggs based on a price estimate for around $4k for services at Spring. When it came time to pay, we found the actual price was $14k but were too far along to make any changes. It was very upsetting and shocking. We would have moved forward with Spring either way but made different decisions about which donor eggs to use had we known. This discrepancy really changed our perception of the service and care provided.

Dr. Tran did not provide much useful information on his process and expected us to know what to ask. Had we not gone through this process with other doctors, we would have learned nothing at all. Dr. Tran came across as disinterested and rude. This consultation was a rip off. We would like someone to reach out to us because this was a very poor experience. email:andrew.h.lam@gmail.com

Spring is 10/10. I feel so lucky for having Spring as my fertility clinic. I would definitely recommend your clinic to others interested in fertility treatments.

Excellent anesthesiologist I appreciated his bedside manner and attention to detail. Post op nurse was also excellent very caring, thoughtful and sweet. I had an understanding that my primary doctor would not be doing the retrieval. Given that it would've been nice if the performing MD would have stopped and at least introduced herself and said hello pre-procedure. She walked past us multiple times in preop. The procedure tech/nurse seemed to be very unexperienced. She kept getting my iv line caught causing it to pull the dressing off, fumbled with putting monitors on. Multiple people in the room while i was in procedure. No one said hi, just personal chatting. It would be a more welcoming patient experience to at least be acknowledged.

The weekly doc schedule is not the best because the one thing I really liked about Spring was the continuity of care. My usual doctor was not available and my FET just didnt fall on the day that Pasternak was on despite how hard I tried. Of course, questions and concerns come up after hours and on weekends cuz that is how the world works. Just wish there was more support afterwards. Btw, the FET experience with the doctor and nurse wasnt the best. I understand it probably is less complicated and more straightforward compared to egg retrieval but felt the doctor could be less rushed and more warm. Would be nice if the nurse or doctor went through some positive or reassuring discharge talk afterwards. Just felt so rushed and it was a different provider at every appointment after the consultation which was not ideal.

It's a little stressful to run out/low on medications while waiting for results to determine whether I need to order more. I think this aspect of the treatment process could be made more clear (e.g., "we know you are out of medication X, so we will let you know if you need to order more by this time, which will allow for same day delivery"). I always felt like my questions we responded to well, but I sometimes needed to prompt to check in on this information when it took longer than anticipated. Otherwise communication was generally pretty good throughout the process.
