In general I feel that spring is very responsive via email. However I have found that trying to get a nurse on the phone before I am actually in the transfer cycle was very difficult and I had a number of questions that were not easy to ask or answer via email. Once I was in the transfer cycle I found the nurses very responsive but when there are so many decisions to make ahead of time it would be helpful to have nurses more available earlier on in the process. Also while I find Dr. Tran to be a very good clinician, it would be great if he was more friendly and took more time to connect to patients on a human level.

Treatment Outcome - I've already discussed my results with Dr. Pasternak and gave this feedback. At the end of this process, I felt frustrated with the number of eggs frozen in comparison to my conversations with the various doctors at each ultrasound. It was not clear to me how many eggs we were targeting to freeze should be 50% - 100% of the counted follicles in the initial ultrasound before the birth control and injections. In addition it was not clear what a "good" expected outcome looked like for my age and it was note clear the expectations on the difference between egg count retrieved and egg count actually frozen. Because I was reacting well to the medication, I had a high follicle count during my ultrasounds which my doctors always interpreted positively, but did not make it clear we should still focus on the egg frozen target set at the initial ultrasound. (Sorry this text box I am typing from is so small, so there may be typos, weird formatting).

Everyone at spring has been so helpful and kind! One feedback that would be helpful is to send the email follow up yo personal email along with the update in the portal. I cant sign onto the portal from my phone for some reason so I would always have to login on my laptop to confirm instructions. It works but there were a couple times where have an email summary in addition to the portal would be helpful! Thanks!

So grateful for Bridget and Tatiana and Dr. KIM!!

To be honest, our financial advisor Taylor, was terrible with communication. She could really use some guidance especially when the rest of the team is so sincere. We were never notified if our payments were received from Future Family and whenever we had questions, she would reply to the email with no care and often not even answer the question but rather reply with canned responses that sometimes didnt relate to what we were asking. There was no care or support from her. It was a stark contrast from our amazing nurse, Onjira. We also asked for a phone consult and that was just completely ignored. We let it go, hoping things would progress in a better way but it didnt. We did let Taylor know of our disappointment but she never asked what could be improved. She just simply justified that she did all that she could.

I felt like there couldnt be more capable hands to guide me through this intensive process. The balance between empathy and efficiency is something rare and to be celebrated. Thank you Dr. Kim, Mikayla, Bridget, all the nurses and reception team that made those early AM appointment smooth.

Some small areas for improvement: You should send out calendar holds once appointments are confirmed. The Ring Central app was annoying to have to download. Using Zoom or Google Meet would be easier since everyone already has/uses those. But small stuff generally, really happy with the outcome!

Please ask patients if they have a history with depression, especially premenstrual depression, because they should be made aware that the hormonal cliff after the procedure may result in symptoms of depression.

Dr Kim was amazing! The whole process was well communicated by her and the staff. I felt very supported with all the information I needed.
