Financial dropped the ball multiple times and did not take responsibility for their errors. It took a lot of work as the patient to get what I needed from the financial team. When i spoke to McCrae about the delays in communication from the team her response was "I didnt work here when that happened" it was so disappointing when the rest of our experience has been so excellent

I felt very unprepared for the side effects/OHSS I experienced. My care team understood I had fibroids and could see the way I was reacting to the hormones physically in my appointments and I wish they had set clear expectations for a slower/harder recovery. Dr. Pasternak mentioned at the time of my procedure I should expect a slower recovery but at that time it was too late for me to adjust my plans. I had only planned to be out of the office for one day as recommended and only had someone staying with me for a night, and I ended up having to scramble to take more time off and to get help at home since I live alone. I understand not wanting to cause anxiety but I feel that if I had set expectations to be unwell for the whole week it would have felt a lot less confusing and stressful. I was also feeling like a failure or like somethings wrong with me because my side effects were so much worse than what had been explained and what my friends had gone through. I have really appreciated the vast majority of my care at Spring throughout this experience but the misaligned expectations of the recovery process and the fibroids side effects have been hard for me this past week.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with all 5 retrievals at Spring. From my provider to the nurses and all support staff no detail was missed. Thank you for your support, patience and compassion!

A bit more focus on after care/treatment and expectations after the retrieval. Everything seemed hands off after that stage and I had to do my own research to educate myself if certain outcomes is a certain way then what options to consider. This shouldve been covered by the care team. Overall leading up to the procedure was excellent.

The one thing I would have liked is directions for parking. We were a little late on the day of retrieval because it was unclear there is no access to the garage on weekends.
