Wonderful experience, great service and care

Overall, we had a positive experience with Spring, especially with our doctor and nursing team. Our doctor was warm, patient, and highly knowledgeable throughout the process. We always felt that our questions were welcomed, and communication from the doctor was timely and reassuring. The doctor took time to explain things clearly, and we felt a strong sense of confidence and trust in the medical care we received. The nursing team was also very professional in terms of medication instructions, treatment coordination, and procedural communication. They helped us feel informed and supported during a very stressful process. However, our biggest concern was the care team coordination and communication. We initially worked with Rose and later with Saachi, and unfortunately both experiences were challenging. We have already discussed some of these concerns directly with the doctor. One major issue was unclear guidance and lack of proactive planning. In several situations, it seemed the care team lacked experience in anticipating critical timing-sensitive steps. For example, our genetic testing timeline was not managed appropriately, which resulted in delays and forced us to postpone my egg retrieval cycle while waiting for testing results. This situation felt avoidable with better coordination and guidance. Another concern was communication accuracy. There were multiple instances where we received incorrect or uncertain information communicated with a high level of confidence. Later, when we independently researched the information or confirmed details directly with the doctor, we discovered the information was inaccurate. This created significant unnecessary stress and anxiety during an already emotionally difficult fertility process. These are only a few examples, and there were several other situations that contributed to a loss of confidence in the care coordination process. Combined with the emotional stress surrounding our genetic testing results and fertility journey overall, it has made us uncertain whether we feel comfortable continuing future treatment steps with Spring, such as embryo-related procedures. I still believe Spring is a strong clinic overall, and we truly appreciate the quality of care from the doctor and nursing staff. However, I strongly believe the care team communication and coordination process needs improvement, as it is one of the most essential parts of the patient experience. Better communication and proactive guidance would make a major difference in reducing patient stress and building trust during such a sensitive process.

Before my consult I had already done 4 rounds of IVF with Kaiser, so I was not new to IVF, but my Spring consult was very informative and made me feel more confident and less stressed about my options moving forward.
