I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Minjares and her team

With Dr Minjarez I had a great experience. Very different than the terrible experience I had with Dr. Murugappan in the summer. If dr Minjarez is the doctor I would recommend but anyone else I would say run away. Dr Murugappan definitely had no technical skills to do my transfer (not a simple one but she should have noticed the difficulty when she did the saline sonogram and done some trouble shooting prior to transfer day disaster)

I was really unhappy with the way reception handled the situation with my name. There was another person with my name receiving treatment at the same time. I requested my name to be changed to match my husband but it took three phone calls to do so. The receptionist did not understand how stressful it is to have a person with the same name at the same time in the ivf office.

1) I had virtual consult with Minjares once and after that never heard from her again due to my timeline and her rotation schedule 2) My last ultrasound with Dr. Tran resulted in 20 minute wait past appointment time and he was in and out. He also took a picture of my ultrasound on his phone and said just in case things don�t work out then left. Very weird and awkward. 3) During my last embryo transfer with Dr. Malinda Lee, the transfer was much more personable but the most recent transfer was like going back to Kaiser and not very personable. The embryologist didn�t provide the embryo thawing survival rate, Dr. Tran said 100% then laughed (my husband thinks he was just casually responding because he wouldn�t know. My first transfer with Spring, Dr. Lee made sure I could see the screen and where the embryo showed up in my uterus. In the second transfer, I could barely see what was happening. I miss how the transfers were previously done.

The care team at the Sunnyvale location has been amazing. My only complaint is getting a hold of the primary nurse assigned to me, Julie. She rarely answers the phone and seldom calls back�this was a huge problem and stressor when getting medication refilled. We feel her accessibility does not match the Spring standard.
