It would have been nice to review our treatment plan with the physician before meeting with the finance person. There was a lot that was on the cost list that we didn�t know about. Our initial conversation with the patient navigator was helpful but stressful in that we didn�t have a lot of time to complete paperwork or meet with the doctor before paying for the treatment. Fortunately we got more time because of where I was in my cycle. The other thing is that I wish there has been more transparency about the attrition we could expect at each phase. I wish this had been made more clear before the retrieval. I also wish I would have known how little contact I would have with the doctor I chose. During the conversation with the financial counselor it felt more like we were being lectured at rather than having a conversation. That might have just been due to the time constraint we were under. Overall I thought the best part was the availibility of the care team via text.

Salve could have been so much better - have web version! imagine having to type out medication names and long messages about your health on a phone. like if you don't make your staff write notes on a phone, please don't make me. i feel like i had to do a lot of research and advocate for myself and ask questions, instead of trusting the team to give me the information that I need. i have many instances where communication was not clear or adequate. i can give examples in a phone call or something if that would be helpful.
