It is hard to really understand what the side effects and outcomes will be - my outcome was a bit disappointing but this is not the fault of the team. I think there was an emphasis on worse case scenario side effects in preparing rather than what is typical - I felt really strange throughout being on hormones but had nothing super alarming happen - perhaps more info on the typical things - appetite changes, feeling sort of heady and odd, and perhaps at what parts of the cycle to expect what. I received somewhat mixed messaging on when it was ok to excercise as well. but overall, I feel the team is great and the experience was as good as it could have been.

I think Zore spoke a little bit too fast, felt a little bit stoic or rushed. Didnt feel like I was able to grasp everything she said.

It would have been nice to have gotten a quicker appointment, but I understand. It's good that you're so popular! However, Salve is not a very user-friendly platform. Especially for documents and paperwork. (Especially on desktop.)

I loved the woman who drew my blood at the Soma office! I didnt catch her name but she is about to go out on maternity leave. She was kind and chatted with me to distract me from the blood draw. Even on the day I was dehydrated and was stuck a couple times by someone else first, she came in and was able to get the blood while chatting softly with me. Dr. Zore was great. Straightforward and able to answer any and all questions I may have had. The doctor I saw at the Burnham office the day I had a weekend ultrasound was also great. Friendly and welcoming even though I wasnt her patient. And the nurse the morning of my retrieval was so kind and her care was really welcomed and felt. I think her name was DeAnna and she was warm and friendly and had a great demeanor at 6 in the morning. The nurse when I woke up from the procedure was great too, I think maybe her name was Kristen. So kind and understanding and I felt really taken care of by her as well. My patient care team through Salve was great and so responsive. I mostly talked to Brianna, Nina, and Elizabeth for financials and they were all wonderful to work with. Overall very satisfied!

The recovery from my retrieval was much more difficult than I expected due to OHSS. I wish I was better prepared for it. I also am not sure my team took my pain/condition seriously enough I wonder if my stomach cycle could have been altered to avoid such a strong reaction/difficult recovery.

Ive been down this road multiple times, and each time, I feel so supported by and grateful for the Spring team. I guess I will say that even at a larger clinic, I feel cared for and like everyone is rooting for me. A special shout out to my amazing team: coordinator Catherine, nurse Nina, Dr Zore, and Dr Tran. There are many others who Ive interacted with daily over the past few months whove all made a difference. Thank you thank you.
